Back to School

 
The kids started back to school on July 26th. I am never ready for them to go back. The summer is never long enough - I will enjoy the two weeks off in October. It takes a few days for me to get used to it again. Nellie is in 1st grade at Weinberg elementary. Because she is in the special ed program the bus picks her up right at our house. Haley goes to Chandler Traditional Junior High (CTJH). It is the old Chandler Jr. High that Scott went to. They have done a lot of work to it and it is a nice school. She takes a bus there, her first year taking a bus. Sydney is a Sophmore at Basha High. Kristen is a Senior at Basha High. I can't believe that 4 of my kids will be high school graduates this year. Man, that makes me feel really old.

Courtney's Bridal Shower

 
Cindee Clark & Nola Stewart gave Courtney a bridal shower. It was held at Cindee's home. Nola made the girls cute aprons to wear for it. She also made those cute yummy cupcakes. Cindee had fun games to play. I have awesome friends! She got a lot of support and I was very thankful. She loved the gifts. She had her wisdom teeth removed a few days before so she was still swollen.

to hear it better go to the bottom of page and turn off the music. For Courtney's shower I did a video of Sean asking him questions to see how much he knew about Courtney and visa versa. I think they got most of the questions right. I had to retape Sean after I had asked him the questions the first time - not thinking that he would already know some of the questions - like, he didn't remember when Courtney's birthday was and that's why we laugh at that answer. The Herrell's are not onion lovers at all! so I thought that was one of the things he would say for her food dislikes. When I asked what they like to do together and he says moving his furniture that's because they had just spent a few days moving his furniture to his Dad's house. By the way, Sean's skin color is not normally orange. :)

Courtney Wisdom Teeth Pulled

Courtney got her wisdom teeth pulled. She was lucky and only had two of them. We decided while she was on our insurance we should get it done. With her bridal shower just 4 days away she is hoping for the swelling to be down.

Happy Birthday Lucy

 
Lucy had a birthday party at Peter Piper Pizza to celebrate her 2nd birthday. She loved the cupcakes and wanted to lick the frosting off all of them. She got lots of fun presents. She did not want to smile for the camara. If you ask Lucy how old she is she alway's says "I'll be five". She is such a cute little girl. We love her so much!
