My Mom was diagnosed (I did a post about that) with breast cancer in March. She had a mammogram and it caught a lump in her left breast and in her lymph nodes in her left arm. She had a mastectomy and went through chemo. It was very hard to watch her be soooo sick and very helpless. Something I would never want to have to do again. Chemotherapy is aweful! Besides losing your hair and being so sick, it gives you chemo brain and you forget things and don't think right. Mom was very emmotional and spent days just laying in bed sobbing. She was so tired and had no appetite. She had such low blood pressure she would have to go in and get fluids put into her. She is doing much better now and her hair is growing back in nicely - looks like it might have a little curl to it. Mom had a very possitive attitude through it all. She would hug us and say "We will get through this, it's going to be ok".
