Favorite Foods Friday

This is another recipe from my sister Sherry. My kids love it and ask me to make it all the time. The heavy whipping cream makes it taste so delicious. I usually don't use the colored pasta and I usually don't add bell peppers or tomatoes. Enjoy!
Chicken Pasta with Cream Sauce
3 large chicken breast
1 lb (16oz) bow tie, penne or your favorite pasta
1/2 diced red bell pepper
1 cup diced tomatoes
1 cup broccoli chopped
1 1/2 cups cream
1/3 cup shredded parmesan cheese
2 TB butter
2 Tb olive oil
Lawry’s season salt

Cook pasta in pot of boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside. Steam broccoli slightly and set aside. Sauté bell peppers in butter and set aside. Cut chicken into small pieces. Season with Lawry’s season salt. Heat the oil and butter in large frying pan and cook chicken over medium heat until browned. Add cream bring to boil then add bell peppers, tomatoes, broccoli and pasta cook for 1 to 2 minutes. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and serve hot. Serves 8
